Gourmet

Miami Style Cuban Bread - We made this for a friend, but it will inspire us to make Cubans and Shrimp Po Boys... Pretty easy recipe, and we now have a started for our next batch.

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette Salad - Simple and Delicious, we added some Red Pepper, Carrots and Celery.

Asparagus Roll-Ups - Wowza, Pretty Good! The secret is super soft white bread that you cut the ends off and roll super thin, then put a mixture of Cream Cheese, Tabasco and Worcestershire Sauce and roll up the Asparagus, then bake. (Did we mention this is Gourmet?)

Sliced Red Potatoes - Baked with some simple herbs, salt, pepper and oil.

Peel and Eat Shrimp - You can't beat it with delicious, and hot homemade Cocktail Sauce.  Make sure the Shrimp is Wild Caught and always add Old Bay Seasoning to the water when cooking.

French Apple Almond Tart - Here is the Main Event.. Made the crust with Flour, Sugar, Butter and Scotch-Whiskey, then sliced some Granny Smith's and put some more Sugar, Butter and Scotch-Whiskey on it to marinate, and then we made the filling out of more Sugar, Butter, and Scotch-Whiskey.

All was delicious, and now that we are getting into summer where we would love to spend our Sunday's outside in the garden or pool, we will be simplifying recipes and making them a little lighter, and less time spent in the kitchen.            Stay Tuned.
